Renoir and Love

National Gallery · Sainsbury Wing · London · –

Forty paintings from collections around the world show Renoir's gift for depicting love, friendship and everyday emotion, from sun-dappled gardens to the dance halls of Paris. They include Bal au Moulin de la Galette (1876) from the Musée d'Orsay, which the Gallery says is on display in the UK for the first time. The exhibition is organised by the Musée d'Orsay, the National Gallery and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
