Robert Ryman: The Real Thing

Barbican Centre · Art Gallery · London · –

A major new retrospective of the American artist Robert Ryman, presenting over 60 works made from the mid-1950s to the early 2010s and inviting visitors to take a closer look. The title comes from Ryman's belief that the best way to experience a painting is in person: 'You have to see the real thing'.
