Becoming Visible: Women Artists in the NMH

National Museum of History · Taipei · –

Tracing how 20th-century women artists in Taiwan moved from being "objects of observation" to "autonomous voices", 60 works by 60 women artists from the museum's collection, in ink, calligraphy and Western media, are shown in three chapters: Historical Retrospect, Elegance and Transition, and Modernity and Integration. The display uses modular walls and reusable fixtures to cut its carbon footprint.
