Kyushu National Museum

Opened in Dazaifu, Fukuoka Prefecture, in 2005 as Japan's fourth national museum after Tokyo, Nara, and Kyoto, with the aim of understanding the formation of Japanese culture from an Asian perspective. Special exhibitions are on 3F and the Cultural Exchange galleries on 4F.
